Creating a flexible layout

For this rooftop apartment we created a flexible lay-out. By introducing three new steel-framed doors the organisation of the floorplan can change according to the spatial requirements. The guest-room apartment is closed of with one of the doors, the horizontal blinds can provide privacy or day light, as is need. The other two sliding doors create a little office, between living space and bedroom. The horizontal blinds here can create a dark bedrooom or an open connection to the living space. We were delighted that our clients have such an outspoken taste in colours, and that together we could take a deep dive in the colour-research. We believe made this small intervention of a great impact for the whole apartment.
