Lodge I + II + III

Studies for rural hideaways

Barn Lodge

Inspired by traditional Dutch barns, the doors of this spacious, private lodge reveal two floors. The bed- and bathroom are located on the upper floor, which has been retracted to allow for more light in the spacious living area downstairs. The structure has also been lowered to allow guests to  look out on the landscape rather than over it. The lodge is part of the Tiny Lodge Village and is planned for 2018.

Lovers Lodge

This hideaway for two offers a secluded living space with an elevated sleeping area. Both the patio and the living space provide guests with a private view of the surrounding landscape. For interior efficiency and maintenance, the lodge’s kitchen and sanitary facilities are positioned in a central core that divides the living area from the bathroom.

Modular Lodge

Composed of three modules, this lodge can be configured in a multitude of ways. The doors of the living room and kitchen module open up to a mud room and a patio. The bedroom modules provide ample space for a family. A light slit in the bathroom module offers privacy while letting in copious natural light. Fashioned with a solid, windowless side, several lodges can be placed in the same landscape while still affording guests private views of the surroundings. An elegant combination of glass and wood on the remaining sides ensure a bright and spacious feeling.
